The Stakeholders’ Map is online!

The partners developed an interactive map of maritime stakeholders.

As part of the project 2nd work package, dedicated to “Raising awareness of the challenges of maritime transport for safer and cleaner seas”, project partners worked on the identification of actors in the Atlantic Area that support the transition of the shipping industry towards better practices.

This led to a listing of 260+ (and counting) actors and facilities in Ireland, France, Spain and Portugal that actively contribute to a safer and cleaner Atlantic Ocean.

This map includes academic and research institutes, safety and emergency agencies, companies and organisations from the business sector, public administrations, anti-pollution organisations…

The development of this interactive digital map was monitored by SaferSEA partner CEEI Bahia de Cadiz, and the content was produced by the 6 project partners. Thanks to these joint efforts, the map is now online and available on this website. It can be accessed directly through the “Map” tab or by clicking this link: https://maps.safersea.eu/

The objective of this tool is to increase visibility of actors in the sector, improve collaboration and partnerships, provide visual data to assess the concentration of maritime stakeholders in the Atlantic Area, help identify key players involved in green projects… and thereby facilitating access to more sustainable solutions in maritime transport.

This map is available for free use, but we kindly ask to mention the SaferSEA project and add a link to the website when reused.
