The next edition of the World Maritime Day will take place on September 26, 2024. This year's theme is Navigating the future: safety first! Several events will be held, including the WMO-IMO Symposium on Extreme Maritime Weather on September 23-26, 2024, in London, UK. This event will focus on "Bridging the Knowledge Gap Towards Safer Shipping".
The World Maritime Day Parallel Event (WMDPE) will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from October 20 to 22, 2024.
The World Maritime Day related events are an initiative from the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
