Ocean Hackathon® 2025

Brest and Cadiz hosted local editions

Ocean Hackathon® is non-stop, 48-hour competition where participants work together in teams to tackle a challenge related to the maritime sector, using marine data. The 2025 local edition took place on October 17-19 in different cities worldwide, including Brest (FR) and Cadiz (ES).

SaferSEA partners Technopôle Brest-Iroise and CEEI Bahia de Cadiz did indeed organise local editions in their respective cities.

Winners from each city were invited to go to Brest in December 2025 for the Grand Finale.
